New store!

Yay! Hi there latex friends! Yes, I'm still alive in good health!
It has been silent around here... and with a reason (apart from a bloody busy rl..). As some of you may know already, I recently bought an island together with Tillie. On this island we will both build our own new store and more. Here is a sneak peek of my store! As you can see, the store isn't in a sky box anymore!
As you can see the store itself still is a bit grey... I guess I'm almost ready to start editing the interior! I don't know when the store is going to be open to the public.
In the mean while, work on new latex has started, but as you can probably guess, creating this new latex isn't done at light speed. I hope to post some images of my new designs on my Flickr stream! I'll promise to post more frequently from now on ;)

Latexless week

Hi everyone!
Just a quick message from me telling you I'm out of town a.t.m. I'm in Hugary right now writing this message from my hotel lobby in the lovely sunny, clean and pitoresque village called Szeged. I'll be here during this week for a conference. This will be a latexless week for me ;) (I'll manage...) I hope to start Hugo's next week of releases next week!
Apart from that I'm currently working on items and releasing more than one set at once every time. Sometimes it takes a while before a new set that is announced is actually released... I'm thinking about changing that. Release notices will still be the same. But I think I'll be releasing new items more often so you don't have to wait so long :)
that is it for now, I'm going to explore Szeged some more before the conference starts!

At this moment, my shop is doing well, I am designing new stuff and I hope to get it out there as soon as possible. I love to meet new people and make new friends. Yet, as business grows busier it becomes harder to respond to all the IM-messages I receive. Especially since I'm not in sl full time. I run a design company in rl as well.
I'm really not complaining here.. more im's means business is growing and expanding, I get to make cool outfits and see ppl wear my creations and most important of all, I get to know fun and interesting people too!
Right now I need to find ways to keep everything running smoothly, and I want you to know I am working on that. If there is ever a time that I don't respond, you know why, and I'll get back to you! If it is important, please send me a notecard!
Apart from that.... latex!!! I'm currently working on some smaller items right now, I'm going to sell pairs of pants (pants and chaps versions from the Expo sets for example), shirts, gloves etc... and yes, some of the items will even appear in more colors! In this picture you can see an example of a combination of these items.

As a clothing designer I am making latex items for some time now and if you know my work, you now know that I like to expiriment in materials and in different types of outfits. The very first items I made were non-latex lingerie items (the Thess and Suze sets). They didn't sell very well, but making them I learned the most stuff I still use to make designs.
The items I make now vary from fetishy and bdsm outfits like the new (yet to be released) Expo 3.0 outfit to the cheerful summer style minidress (which isn't released either hehe) to the lace / latex combinations in stylish lingerie items like the Ilya and Vox series.
I love to do it all, not only because there is an infinte number of possibilities and ideas for new sets. I also love to show ppl that latex items can be more than only fetish, or only bdsm (only to be worn in the bdsm-dungeon). A lot of people who never thought they would be wearing latex left my store with one or more items which they wear to a party or during a more private moment with their lover(s).
For all you latex enthousiasts (even if wearing latex is not a complete lifestyle for you), there is the SL-Latex group in Second life. Feel free to join and meet fellow latex minded people, models, photographers and more to talk to, exchange landmarks and links etc...! If you are on Flickr and you have nice Second Life and latex related pictures, post them in the SL-latex group! Me and Ellen hope to see you in upcoming events in Second Life and we'll be seeing your pictures on Flickr!
